Image at Style Unveiled
I’m a few days late, but it is time to move past my month of happy changes. I will admit, I’m a bit reluctant to let it go. Making happy changes has been fun, enlightening, and…happy. What have I learned? Above all else, happiness is a daily choice, a lifestyle, a conscious decision. Another thing, it is not easy, it requires effort. And sometimes, no matter how hard I try, I’m just not happy. That’s life.
But, I plan on being happy a lot more often…most of the time actually. After a month of thinking and reading and writing about happiness, I have a really clear idea of what makes me happy and what I need to do to ensure that I stay happy. The most important part of this process was creating my Happiness Commandments and discovering Gretchen Rubin’s Happiness Project. I was waiting for someone to give me permission to pursue happiness, and Gretchen was my woman. Thank you, Gretchen…you are my happiness hero!
